So that’s that. In a fitting turn of events CircusAct fell at the last hurdle as the van broke down 1 mile from St Denys. Despite the best efforts of Nick the driver and above-and-beyond help from good friends Bobby C and Russ Substance the band were unable to make their final dates in Billinghurst and Copsale. A sad end to a fantastic final tour. Earth to Mars went on stage in Billinghurst thanks to help from Bobby C who drove them and the gear to the show. If there’s one thing that shines through from the tour it’s this: no matter how poorly attended gigs are, how bad the sound is, how much merchandise you sell or how many problems you have - it’s all about the people, and their love for the music. Thanks to all the amazing people who’ve looked after us this week. Hope to see some of you at the final CircusAct show next weekend, and the rest of you in the months and years to come.
